2. Who is organizing JK Cement Yadupati Singhania Memorial scholarship?

The scholarship is a CSR initiative of JK Cement. It is being implemented in collaboration with Synergie ITCI, which provides portal support and technical assistance for the application and selection process.

3. What is the main objective of this scholarship?

The initiative aims to empower students from underprivileged backgrounds who are pursuing graduation or post-graduation. It provides financial support to help them continue their education, with a special focus on supporting female candidates.

4. When will the scholarship portal open?

The application portal opens on 20th October 2025.

5. What is the deadline for submitting applications?

The last date to submit applications is: Need to Decide.

6. When will the final application verification happen?

Verification will be conducted on a rolling basis until the closure of the application cycle.

7. Who is eligible to apply?

  • Children of masons, painters, and labor-class workers are eligible to apply.
  • Students pursuing Undergraduate or Postgraduate programs in Paint Technology, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Chemistry (Hons.) are eligible.
  • Applicants must have secured a minimum of 60% marks and at least 75% attendance in the previous academic year (2024–25).
  • The applicant’s age must be between 16 and 27 years.
  • Annual family income must be less than or equal to ₹5,00,000.
  • Applicants must be domiciles of Delhi, Haryana, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, or Rajasthan to be eligible for the scholarship.
  • Children of employees of JK Cement and Synergie ITCI are not eligible to apply.

8. What documents are required?

Applicants must upload the following:

  • Recent photo (not older than 3 months)
  • Proof of 2025–26 enrolment (Fee receipt, ID card, Admission letter, or Bonafide certificate)
  • Marksheet of academic year 2024–25
  • Applicant’s Aadhaar card
  • A Bonafide letter from the educational institute confirming current enrolment, good character, and 75% attendance in 2024–25
  • Educational expenses receipts for the academic year 2025-26 (Tuition Fee Only)
  • Fee structure for the academic session issued by college
  • Family income proof (Salary slip issued by the dealership)
  • Bank details of working parent or applicant (Cancelled cheque or passbook copy)
  • Active DigiLocker account with Grade 10 & 12 mark sheets and other university-issued documents fetched through DigiLocker.
  • Parent’s Aadhaar Card (same parent in whose name the Income Certificate is issued)
  • A Self declaration signed by the student/scholar stating that the student:
    • Has not received a scholarship from any other source during the current academic year
    • Is not related to any JK Cement employee
    • The scholarship amount received will be used for education purposes only

9. What format should documents be uploaded in?

JPEG, PNG, or PDF formats are accepted.

10. Where can I apply?

11. Can I apply offline?

No. Only online applications are accepted.

12. How will I know if my application is received?

You will receive a confirmation via SMS/WhatsApp after successful submission.

13. Can I edit my application after submission?

No. However, you can upload corrected documents by logging into your profile.

15. What is the selection process?

Applications are reviewed based on eligibility, submitted documents, and financial need.

16. Is there a written test or interview?

Yes. Shortlisted applicants will undergo a virtual interaction session conducted through Zoom. This is not a written test, but an online interaction designed to assess the candidate’s motivation, clarity of academic goals, and overall suitability for the scholarship. Candidates will be informed in advance about the schedule and guidelines for the virtual interaction.

17. Who is on the selection panel?

A joint team comprising JK Cement CSR leaders and Synergie ITCI representatives.

18. How will I know if I’m selected?

Selected candidates will be notified via official email/SMS by October 2025.

19. Can my application be rejected?

Yes. Applications can be rejected due to ineligibility, incomplete documentation, or verification failure.

20. How much scholarship amount will be given?

The scholarship provides both financial and learning support to help students continue their education with confidence. Key benefits include:

  • Financial Assistance: Eligible students can receive scholarships of up to ₹1,00,000, covering up to 80% of their tuition fees.
  • Mentorship Support: Selected students will have access to a structured mentorship program led by industry experts focusing on soft skills such as communication, confidence building, career planning, and professional etiquette.

21. How will the amount be disbursed?

The scholarship will be directly transferred to the applicant’s verified bank account submitted during application submission.

22. Will the amount be disbursed in phases?

Yes, the scholarship amount will be disbursed in phases. The disbursement will be linked to academic progress and will be released as per the semester or academic term, based on the submission of fee receipts and academic performance.

23. What if my bank details are incorrect?

Incorrect bank details may delay or cancel the disbursement. Ensure accuracy before submitting.

24. Can the scholarship be revoked?

Yes, in cases of fraud, misrepresentation, or policy violations.

25. How is the scholarship being promoted?

Through emails, banners, implementation partners, social media campaigns, and internal site announcements.
